Job Description

Amazon is hiring Programmer Analyst Interns to work on scalable applications and tools. You'll collaborate with business and engineering teams, write code, support service migrations, and automate processes. You'll also utilize Amazon tools and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create milestones and deliverables with manager and team
  • Participate in daily scrums and code reviews
  • Debug, support, and configure internal applications/tools
  • Write unit-tested, clean, and modular code
  • Analyze and validate technical requirements
  • Use Amazon tech stack: AWS S3, DynamoDB, EC2, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing/completed Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong CS fundamentals: Data Structures, Algorithms, Problem Solving
  • Proficient in Java (preferred), C++, C#, Python, SQL, Perl, Ruby
  • Experience with projects, internships, or hackathons
  • Ability to debug and interpret complex code
  • Familiar with software engineering best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Web Services, schedulers, workflows, multi-threading
  • Exposure to AWS services like S3, DynamoDB
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
