Job Description
Work within the Optical Networks division to support new product introduction by developing an SDK for next-generation ASICs. Collaborate closely with architecture and ASIC teams to design SDK APIs and algorithms, define and execute SDK test plans, and support software integrations across modules.
Key Responsibilities
Drive SDK API and algorithm development, prepare and execute SDK test strategies, support software integration and debugging efforts, and maintain clear design documentation in coordination with ASIC and optical architecture stakeholders.
Key Skills and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 0–2 years of software development experience. Strong coding and debugging skills in C/C++ are mandatory. Experience with Linux or similar RTOS is beneficial. Exposure to embedded systems, device drivers, protocol software, ASIC SDK development, Gigabit Ethernet (GIGE), Optical Transport Networking (OTN), or DSP is advantageous.
