About the Role:
- This internship lets you work on live communication products used globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn modern web stack and backend design, build features for web/mobile clients, and contribute directly to Dialpad’s growing user base.
Job Description:
- Develop and support complex web applications using languages and frameworks such as JavaScript (Vue or similar) and backend services (Python/other supported backend tech).
- Build dynamic, interactive UI components and integrate them with backend services.
- Work on real-time communication features possibly involving WebRTC / WebSockets or similar real-time protocols.
- Assist in producing clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and weekly release cycles.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-facing features and ensure high code quality and performance.
Skills Required:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Good understanding of data structures, object-oriented programming, and basic web development concepts
- Ability to learn quickly, work in teams, and adapt to fast-paced development cycles
- Good communication skills and enthusiasm for building real-world software
