- As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work with Qualcomm’s engineering teams on advanced wireless communication technologies, including system design, algorithm development, and performance characterization.
Job Description
You will participate in key systems engineering activities such as understanding wireless communication standards, contributing to modem algorithm design and validation, engaging in performance analysis, and collaborating with senior engineers in design and review sessions. The role provides exposure to real-world problems and hands-on development within 3G/4G/5G and related networking technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in ECE, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and system thinking
- Understanding of wireless communication concepts (PHY, MAC, coding theory, signal detection/estimation)
- Familiarity with modem algorithms, adaptive filtering, and interference mitigation techniques
- Interest in protocol layers and standards such as 3GPP/3GPP2
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team collaboration and communication skills
