About the Role:
- This internship provides the opportunity to work in a global remote-first environment while contributing to software quality assurance. You will assist in test planning, manual testing, documentation, and collaborate with development teams to validate new features and ensure product stability.
Internship Description:
- Assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software modules.
- Execute manual and basic automated tests to identify functional issues and defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and requirements.
- Document bugs clearly and follow up until resolution.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and planning meetings.
- Perform regression testing and verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to improving QA processes.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE), IT, CS, or MCA.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Ability to write clear test cases, test plans, and structured documentation.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and good communication abilities.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar (preferred, not mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or similar.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
