About the Role:
- As a Jr. Developer at Xogene, you’ll turn UI/UX designs into production-ready code, build and maintain large-scale web applications, and work with a team focused on transforming clinical-trial data into robust regulatory-compliance software. Job Description:
- Develop and support complex web applications using technologies like Python, Django/Flask or Express, along with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into maintainable, quality code following best practices.
- Write unit tests and assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and product managers to plan and implement new features or improvements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to coordinate development efforts.
Skills Required:
- Strong fundamentals in Computer Science: data structures, object-oriented programming, and web application development basics.
- Proficiency in Python and comfort working in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and version control using Git.
- Understanding of relational databases and backend-frontend integration.
- Good communication, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
