About the Job
- As a Site Reliability Engineering Intern at Poshmark, you will be part of the CloudOps/SRE team working on enhancing system reliability, availability, and performance of Poshmark’s production and cloud infrastructure. You’ll help ensure that services are robust and scalable.
Job Description
You will assist in monitoring, automation, and reliability improvements for distributed systems, support deployment pipelines, participate in troubleshooting, implement tooling for observability, and contribute to large-scale system operations under guidance from senior engineers. This internship is on-site and runs for six months.
Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure) and Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Understanding of CI/CD, observability, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to debug complex systems
- Good communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
