About the Role:
- This entry-level developer role gives you the opportunity to work on backend or full-stack applications powering Agoda’s global travel platform. You will collaborate across teams, be part of an agile environment, and build features that impact millions of users worldwide.
Job Description:
- Work on building and maintaining web services or micro-services for Agoda’s travel systems.
- Develop features, bug fixes, and work on scalable backend/frontend code as needed.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, writing clean and maintainable code, and follow best practices.
- Learn from senior engineers, take part in team discussions, and continuously improve code quality and product performance.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals and web/backend technologies.
- Comfort working with languages commonly used in web development (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with databases, REST APIs, and distributed systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and readiness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, as you'll collaborate with global teams.
