About the Job
Maketronics is solving a niche yet globally relevant problem in the electronics supply chain by helping companies find hard-to-source components. This is an early-stage build with high ownership, experimentation, and direct impact on real operational workflows. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to build internal systems used daily for sourcing, automation, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications and internal tools.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Convert requirements into technical tasks.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and improve development processes.
- Document work and follow standard development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or currently in final year.
- Strong fundamentals in OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of one programming language (Java / Python / JS / etc.).
- Understanding of SDLC concepts.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools.
- Good communication and teamwork mindset.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Personal or academic projects.
- Experience with Git or version control.
- Exposure to APIs, databases, or web development.
