About the Role:
- This full-time role offers fresh graduates the opportunity to work on software design, development, testing, deployment, and support within Chevron’s digital engineering initiatives, collaborating with global teams and applying best engineering practices in a production environment.
Job Description:
- Deliver innovative software solutions through design, development, deployment, and support of applications and services in an enterprise environment.
- Write high-quality code, develop reusable components, and implement scalable designs for modular software systems.
- Utilize CI/CD tooling and Agile practices to release, test, and improve software continuously.
- Work with data integration, backend services, APIs, and cloud-based tools as part of solution delivery.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams across time zones to support global initiatives and deployments.
- Maintain awareness of current tools and practices for testing, code quality, performance, and integration.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field, graduating by 2026 or with less than two years of experience after graduation.
- Good programming skills in languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control systems, and source control methodologies.
- Experience or familiarity with cloud tools, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Legal authorization to work in India (no visa sponsorship provided).
