About the Role:
- This role allows early-career engineers to contribute to the development and testing of mission-critical trading systems. You will work closely with global teams, ensure high-quality software releases, and gain exposure to low-latency systems, automation frameworks, and large-scale technical environments.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with development, QA, support, and global stakeholder teams across the US, Europe, and Asia.
- Create test plans, test cases, and documentation for multiple internal software systems.
- Perform end-to-end testing, defect tracking, and release sign-off activities.
- Update and maintain specification documents and functional workflows.
- Handle certifications and conformance checks with brokers and exchanges.
- Manage test environments and identify improvements in testing processes.
- Automate test workflows using Python and BDD frameworks.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination during release cycles.
Skills Required:
- 0–2 years of experience as SDET or Software Engineer in Test.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Good knowledge of Linux, system fundamentals, networking, and environment management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good to Have:
- C++ programming experience.
- Knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD testing methodologies.
- Ability to create test plans from informal specifications.
- Experience with CI/CD or DevOps tools.
- Exposure to financial markets or trading systems.
