About the Job:
- Join the Internal Tools team to help build and maintain tools used across Coursera’s business functions.
- Work on backend operational workflows that support engineering, data, content operations, learner support, finance, and legal teams.
- Collaborate across functions to troubleshoot issues, scale workflows, and deliver quality solutions.

Job Description:
- Assist in building and improving internal web applications with clean and maintainable code.
- Execute and manage high-volume operational tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Support maintenance, scaling, and optimization of existing operational workflows.
- Identify and document opportunities for process improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement workflow changes and enhancements.
- Learn best practices for full-stack development including front-end and back-end work.
- Help test new features, fix bugs, and maintain project documentation.
Skills Required:
- Foundational knowledge of programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and CRUD operations.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive mindset and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
