About the Job:
- Support the security team in their daily operations and ongoing initiatives.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and basic security testing under guidance.
- Help monitor security alerts, logs, and dashboards to detect issues.
- Support cloud security reviews, audits, and configuration checks for best practices.
- Participate in access control reviews, credential hygiene tasks, and asset inventory activities.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve application and infrastructure security.
Job Description:
- Assist with basic security testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Monitor, review, and analyze security alerts and logs for potential threats.
- Help perform configuration checks and cloud security validation.
- Document security procedures, findings, and remediation steps clearly.
- Follow and learn security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Participate in internal security audits, drills, and awareness sessions with the team.
Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of computer networks and operating systems such as Linux or Windows.
- Familiarity with core cybersecurity concepts such as malware, firewalls, encryption, authentication, and phishing.
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of web technologies at a fundamental level (HTTP, APIs, browsers).
- Willingness to learn security tools and scripting languages (Shell, Python) at a beginner level.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ethical approach to security tasks.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing or completed a degree such as B.Tech, BE, MCA, or M.Tech in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related technical disciplines.
- Freshers and early-career candidates are eligible.
- Ability to work from the office in Gurugram for the full internship duration (typically 6 months).
