About the Role:
- Build reliable automation to improve release quality and speed.
- Own test design, automation frameworks, and CI quality gates.
- Work across APIs, backend services, and web UI testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers to enable shift-left testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automation frameworks for API, UI, and integration testing.
- Write stable, data-driven tests for REST/gRPC services and web applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create test plans, environments, and mock/stub services.
- Perform defect triage and root-cause analysis with engineering teams.
- Track quality metrics like coverage, build health, and defect rates.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong coding skills in Java or Python.
- Hands-on with Selenium or Playwright for UI automation.
- Experience with REST API testing tools.
- Knowledge of JUnit/TestNG/pytest and Git.
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Linux commands and debugging basics.
- Good communication and ownership mindset.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Docker, Kubernetes basics, and AWS exposure.
- BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave.
- Performance testing with JMeter or k6.
- Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
Eligibility:
- BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science or related field.
- 0–2 years experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.
