In this role, you will work on maintaining the reliability and performance of cloud-based applications. You will collaborate with development teams and support monitoring, automation, and incident management processes in a modern infrastructure environment.
About the Role:
As a Junior SRE Engineer, you will focus on ensuring system reliability, monitoring application health, and supporting cloud infrastructure operations while learning industry best practices.
- Support monitoring and reliability of cloud applications.
- Work with dashboards and alerting tools.
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts.
- Troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and system performance.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Support Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts.
- Ensure high availability of systems.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Understanding of monitoring tools and observability.
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Python / Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Linux systems.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
- Interest in automation and distributed systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience (freshers can apply).
- Strong interest in cloud and infrastructure engineering.
