About the Role:
As a Data Science Analyst (Trainee role), you will work on data analysis, machine learning models, and real-world business problems while learning from experienced data scientists.
- Work on data collection and preprocessing.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Assist in building machine learning models.
- Collaborate with data science teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify insights.
- Support feature engineering and model building.
- Assist in training and evaluating ML models.
- Create reports and data visualizations.
- Document processes and findings clearly.
- Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Skills Required:
- Programming knowledge in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R.
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
- Knowledge of statistics (regression, hypothesis testing).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Git or version control.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- Participation in projects or Kaggle competitions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
