About the Role:
As a Software Development Test Engineer, you will work on automation testing, ensuring product quality and reliability through modern testing frameworks and tools.
- Develop automated test scripts.
- Work on UI, API, and backend testing.
- Collaborate with development teams.
- Improve product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Work on automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects.
- Ensure proper test coverage for features.
- Participate in code reviews and testing discussions.
- Identify edge cases and improve system reliability.
Skills Required:
- Programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript.
- Understanding of OOPS and data structures.
- Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, PyTest, RestAssured).
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
- Freshers eligible.
- Strong programming and analytical skills.
